Beer Breakfast 2012 starts in 24 Hours!
Music to my ears! Practice and tuning have begun with downtown St. Pete afire with the sights, sounds and smells of The Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg!

Did you know that a major motion picture is being filmed in St. Petersburg right now? The Spring Breakers is being filmed on St. Pete Beach and they need extras…. more details here:
Tell anyone that is a fan of your Beer Breakfast FB page to make sure and keep an eye out for “crew” signs and to go behind the Coral Reef near Tradewinds on St. Pete Beach. Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens, Rachel Korine and James Franco are still in town filming Spring Breakers. And for anyone here now, they need 500 extras that are at least 18 and have that “college spring break look” of 18 to 25 and are comfy wearing a bathing suit. If you know anyone that can be here for about 12 hours of filming of a major party scene for the film on this Wednesday, March 21st they need to send an email to: springbreakersparty@gmail.com and include in the subject line: your name, sex and age then in the body of the email include your phone number, email and size and then attach a clear photo of yourself *swim suit photo* a plus!

Have a bar you really love? In 2011 we discovered The Mandarin Hide in Downtown St. Petersburg as the venue for our 10th Annual Beer Breakfast. We had such a great time that we decided to repeat.
Hope you can join us on Saturday morning the 24th of March for a round or two before you head to the St. Pete Grand Prix. If you can’t make the event… but want one of our world famous t-shirts… you can order them online.
If you’re pretty good at drinkin’ beer we want to see you at The Mandarin Hide in Downtown St. Pete on 3-24-2012 for our 11th Annual Beer Breakfast. This crazy tradition is ‘merriment with a mission’ and an authorized fund raiser for the local charity that benefits the families of fallen law enforcement officers.

With the clock counting down to less than a week to Beer Breakfast 2012 we wanted to share a quick Jib Jab from our friend, Cliff Dubois, in Tucson, AZ. While Cliff will not be attending Beer Breakfast in person, he made this video to show us that he is here in spirit.

Since its inception in 1978, the Children’s Tumor Foundation has grown into the largest non-government funder of neurofibromatosis, or NF, research in the world. The Foundation is the driving force behind research aimed at finding treatments and a cure for NF – a common, yet under recognized progressive disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. NF affects one in every 3,000 children, more than cystic fibrosis, Duchenne muscular dystrophy and Huntington’s disease combined, and can lead to a wide variety of complications, including blindness, bone abnormalities, cancer, deafness, disfigurement, learning disabilities and excruciating and disabling pain. Pioneering NF research funded by Children’s Tumor Foundation is shedding new light on cancer, brain tumors, learning disabilities, and bone abnormalities – ultimately benefiting the broader community, in addition to those with NF.
