Back by popular demand for their 10th straight Beer Breakfast, we can’t get enough of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, a stalwart at Beer Breakfast since 2015! The infamous Beer Breakfast Bloody Mary Bar will be back with more tasty treats than ever with the support of this Austin, TX based company. We cannot thank Tito’s Handmade Vodka enough for their very generous support over the years. With the Bloody Mary Bar being lovingly stocked by Liz from Mandarin Hide, the fixin’s will be as spectacular as always and the awesome bartenders at Mandarin Hide will keep the libations flowing!

I’m so blessed to have such great friends help me raise funds for our local 501c3’s like Arts Conservatory for Teens (ACT). Each day we grow and continue to look for more fun folks to support the Revelry~Fellowship~Sanctuary that is BEER BREAKFAST!

We’ve raised over $150,000 for local 501(c)3 charities with the goal of getting to $180,000 this year at our next Beer Breakfast event! None of this happens without the support of amazing people like Tito’s Handmade Vodka and YOU!

Beer Breakfast ’25…. LET’S LIGHT THIS CANDLE!!

The date is set and our next Beer Breakfast group has been chosen for the Revelry~Fellowship~Sanctuary that is Beer Breakfast!

This is the most anticipated announcement in our 25 year history (don’t try to add it up, remember…. we are day drinkers!) for the next Beer Breakfast event! What began as a lark back in 2002 with 5 friends getting together for a round of beers at o’dark-thirty in the alley behind Mastry’s has grown into an annual gathering of hundreds of like-minded souls eager to enjoy each others company AND raise money for local charities.

In keeping with our mission of supporting local non-profit groups, we are proud to announce our support of…. Arts Conservatory for Teens at our next Beer Breakfast Event. Headquartered in St Petersburg, Florida, Arts Conservatory for Teens (ACT) is an amazing local 501c3 charity introduced to us by our good friend, Ryan Griffin, and his wonderful family.

At Arts Conservatory for Teens (ACT), their mission is to use high quality arts education to educate, empower, and enrich the lives of the youth in our community. By focusing on the holistic development of their students, ACT is ensuring a better future for them and also for our communities. Building self-esteem, confidence, and connections with peers and mentors are all pivotal in building strengths of our youth and also the future of our communities.

Founded in 2012, with headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida, ACT offers world-class training and performance opportunities in Music, Theater, Dance, Film, Art, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship. ACT is dedicated to the under-served and at-risk youth in our communities, using the arts as a catalyst to prepare students for high school graduation, higher education, and the workforce. 84% of ACT’s scholarships are awarded to underprivileged students.

THANK YOU! Our most recent Beer Breakfast event in support of The Pineapple Projects was incredible with our highest attendance yet! Thanks to our ‘Friends of Beer Breakfast‘, sponsors, attendees, t-shirt sales, raffles, and auctions I’m SO PUMPED to report our gross donations were the second highest ever!

Proceeds from the event were delivered this week to Ashley and her amazing crew at TPP for $14,133! Hundreds came, the weather was perfect, I put my friends and kids to work and we had an absolute blast as we raised awareness and monetary support for The Pineapple Projects, our local 501(c)3 charity hand picked to receive the love from Beer Breakfast ’24!

We’ve now raised almost $150,000 for local 501(c)3 charities and can’t wait to shatter that mark next year at our next Beer Breakfast event! None of this happens without the support of amazing people like YOU! I remain humbled and grateful to all of my family and friends for seeing the value in this silly idea of mine that began with five people in 2002 in the alley behind Mastry’s (thanks Mom!).

We’re looking for Corporate sponsorships for next year with the hope of “matching” sponsors to come on board to really take our efforts to the next level. Please let me know if you can help!

THANK YOU! …. to everyone who came out to Beer Breakfast 2024 two Saturday’s ago and for everyone who supported us this year! We had so much fun and the turnout was amazing! Donations keep coming in so we won’t have a proceeds total until later this week, but I know we did really well for The Pineapple Projects! I love my family and friends and I am so blessed in every way, which is why it it easy for me to give back to our local community by having Beer Breakfast events! THANK YOU!

I’m also super excited for my buddy, musician David Cahalan, as he embarks on our local scene once again to bring his amazing talents to St Pete! Dave will be playing TONIGHT (Tues., March 19th) at The Chattaway starting at 6pm. The Chattaway is an iconic piece of St Pete that Ms. Jill, Greg, and the crew have let us locals enjoy since 1951. Dave is one of my longest and dearest friends from Florida and after taking a 10 year sabbatical to the Oregon winery region where he soothed some souls at exclusive resorts and private gatherings, Dave is now back in good ol’ St Pete ready to share his talents at some local venues and private concerts! Dave’s career has spanned five decades. From his humble roots as an Iowa farm boy getting the lead role in his high school musical, Hollywood acting stints (he was 3rd in line behind Henry Winkler to be The Fonz!), national commercial jingles, to being a backup vocalist in The Carpenters and touring the globe with them. The stories this dude has are insane!

Beer Breakfast ’24 Swag is done and ready to hit the streets of St Pete! Come early this Saturday, March 9th for the best selection of Beer Breakfast gear for 2024. We’re mixing it up this year with lightweight, dry-fit, long sleeve hoodies and Beer Breakfast visors. We keep expanding the swag with the assistance of Architectural Art and Trinity Graphics and now feature Beer Breakfast hoodies, baseball caps, visors, guys and gals dri-fit shirts, stickers (yes, Bob, stickers!), and BB koozies! Prior event swag will also be there if you missed them! I couldn’t do this without so many of my wonderful friends donating their time and talents to our merry mission! The more you buy, the more money we can raise for The Pineapple Projects!

Say wh-wh-what? Fox 13 News and old kickball pal, Mark Wilson, will be featuring Beer Breakfast and our next event to support The Pineapple Projects tonight in the 6:30p to 7p time slot! What started out as a goof with me and four of my buddies (and my Mom!) having beer and donuts in the alley behind Mastry’s has turned into hundreds of folks gathering to make a difference in our community! I can’t wait to see everyone this Saturday morning at Mandarin Hide!

The Pineapple Projects is a local 501(c)3 started by Ashley Cornetet and came to be when she saw a post during Covid about a family who had lost their serving jobs and had sold all their home essentials to pay their bills. She knew she could help and reached out to friends and the community for help! Within 10 days their home was transformed. The Pineapple Projects Mission is to help those in need of home essentials. Transforming houses into homes for our Pinellas County neighbors who are starting over and need a helping hand. We spread love and joy by creating beautiful spaces that feel like home…. a home that provides a restful environment to support each family’s fresh new start. They are designing change, one family at a time!

It’s time to get geared up for Beer Breakfast on Saturday, March 9th to support The Pineapple Projects  and we couldn’t ask for a better friend than Jon Reno LaBudde at Reno Beach Surf Shop! Thanks to Reno Beach our raffle item this year will be a super sick Michael Dolsey Designs 10’6” Glider Series hard bodied SUP and aluminum paddle. With full length deck traction and hardware mounts, this bad boy is light, stable, and durable for getting out on the water!
Only 100 tickets will be sold for this one folks, so be sure to get there early!

Props to Reno Beach ownership, management, and staff for all that you do in our community and for having some of the sweetest sun, sand, and surf kit on Florida’s West Coast! Shout out to Addison and Siara for helping me get the board and paddle on the Jeep!

For the 5th consecutive year, their support for Beer Breakfast remains strong with their donation of two Chase Club Tickets to the Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Buffalo Sabres game on Mon., April 15, 2024! The winning live auction winner will enjoy all you can eat and drink in the best seats in the arena!

Red’s Place is a not-for-profit founded by Bruce Danielson with a focus on building living-learning communities for a forgotten population: adults with autism. Red’s Place is revolutionizing what independence can look like for adults with Autism with the creation of the Autistic Living + Learning Community. The first project is planned for River Falls, Wisconsin (Greater Minneapolis) where a 54-unit, supportive living apartment building will facilitate an environment where residents gain job and life skills training and are able to put those skills to practice through community partnerships. Red’s Place is creating an amazing community to provide a high quality, fulfilling life of dignity for our aging population with Autism.
