Beer Breakfast – March 29, 2014
Thank you to the 300+ attendees and supporters of our most recent Beer Breakfast Event that was held this past Saturday, March 29th in downtown St. Pete at the Mandarin Hide. The weather was perfect and the vibe was so incredibly positive as we raised awareness, memberships and monetary support for Tampa Bay Watch, our local 501(c)3 non-profit group who strives in their efforts of ‘Restoring the Bay Every Day’.
The final figures are not yet official, but from initial reports it looks like we will have raised over $6,000 at the event with proceeds to Tampa Bay Watch being slightly less after expenses. We should all be VERY proud of this accomplishment and know this was the single greatest event raise in the 12+ year history of Beer Breakfast!! I am humbled and grateful to all of my family and friends for seeing the value in this silly idea of mine that began with four people in 2002 in the alley behind Mastry’s (thanks Mom!).
