Next Beer Breakfast is Saturday, March 1, 2025!

It’s been such a whirlwind with a growing family, more than one Beer Breakfast event in a 12-month span and the hopes of more to come that I forgot to spread the good news of our Ale & Witch event that we had on May 26th…… apologies to all.

Considering we only had a few weeks to plan it and the birth of my 3rd child, Evelyn, thrown into the mix I’d say we had a smashing success of 100+ in attendance as we raised in excess of $1,600 for Suncoast Hospice!!

Much appreciation to all those who continue to support the crazy idea of Revelry~Fellowship~Sanctuary that is…. Beer Breakfast!!

Huh? Yes, believe it or not we have former president Jimmy Carter to thank for the rise of craft beer in America. In the pre-Carter days there was little or no access to home brewing supplies, very little knowledge base for do-it-yourselfers to draw from, and far less experimentation with home brewing, making it effectively impossible to gain entry to the beer market for non-corporate brewers.

Carter’s deregulation essentially stripped away all these barriers to entry, making it possible for a number of people who would otherwise not have entered the market to do so. Did deregulation of brewpubs also help lead to the craft beer explosion? Certainly. 90% of craft beers began as home brews. Without Carter’s deregulation, the brewpubs themselves would never have taken off. 90% of the craft brews we now have would never have existed.

Oh yes, you heard that right…. our good friends at The Ale & The Witch have secured a  private batch of Kelly’s Irish Cider-Smoot – A special blend of Tangerine Wheat + Kelly’s Irish Cider…. it’s a flippin’ Beer Mimosa my friends!!

Available Saturday morning at Beer Breakfast! We are an officially supported Suncoast Hospice fund raising event!

Three cheers and as many beers for the fine folks at Suncoast Hospice for their appreciation and support of Beer Breakfast at The Ale & The Witch being held on the  morning of Saturday, May 26th. Here’s our Letter of Support.

What is The Ale & The Witch? Let Kevin C. from St. Pete give you an idea…… The Ale & The Witch is, by far, the best bar for beer in downtown St. Pete. They serve only American craft beers, and it has a huge selection that rotates with remarkable frequency. There is ALWAYS a great new beer to try!

It has a great outdoor seating area and live music most nights. The courtyard gets a nice breeze, and makes for a relaxing place to hang out. The staff at The Ale & The Witch is great (Yeah Tim!!). They are incredibly knowledgeable and are happy to help you make a beverage selection!

And now they’re having a Beer Breakfast? I think I’m in Heaven!

Great news my Beer Breakfast brethren….. we are having an upcoming BB event at The Ale & The Witch to kick off Memorial Weekend in grand style!!

Please join us Saturday, May 26th at 9am – 2pm as we raise a pint or three, enjoy each others company and give our thanks and support to Suncoast Hospice as they have done so much for so many with dignity and grace.

Thanks again to our gracious hosts, all my friends and business pals who attended or supported us at Beer Breakfast 2012 at the Mandarin Hide.

So far we’ve raised almost $2,000 for our friends at Sun Coast Law Enforcement Charities! A Beer Breakfast gathering is a place to be yourself, have some fun and DO GOOD in your community. Please help me grow it and we can make a difference! Revelry~Fellowship~Sanctuary never felt so good!

Another wonderful Beer Breakfast Event at the Mandarin Hide was had on the morning of Saturday, March 24th.

A BIG thanks to the owners and crew at the Hide and also to my Beer Breakfast Band of Brothers shown here! I could not have done it without you…. and you know who you are!!

I am humbled by your friendships, love and support.

Congrat’s, applause and best of luck to Gene Simmons from all of us in the Beer Breakfast Universe as he opens his first of hopefully many ‘Rock and Brews‘ restaurants in El Segundo, CA. Simply put, beer kicks ass and so does KISS!

I’m sure many of you, like me, thought KISS was freekin’ awesome when we were young and to see “Dr. Love” himself remain on the center stage of life and to have such a fantastically Pro USA attitude totally rocks!!

Way to go Gene…. I’m going to find you and send you a Beer Breakfast Tee Shirt from 2011 in black & white that will perfectly match your timeless look!

What an amazing weekend full of friends, fun and Beer Breakfast! Congrats to Helio Castroneves on his big win and tribute to the late, great Dan Wheldon, our hometown hero!

I cannot thank enough people for your curiosity, generosity and support of another fantastic Beer Breakfast where so much Revelry~Fellowship~Sanctuary was in abundance!

The flight home to BB HQ was smooth and effortless and I give “props” to the wonderful staff at Albert Whitted for getting us all home safely!
