Next Beer Breakfast is Saturday, March 1, 2025!

My boy Jonny! It’s time to get geared up for our next Beer Breakfast Event this Saturday, March 4th to support Ready For Life and we couldn’t ask for a better friend than Jon Reno LaBudde at Reno Beach Surf Shop! Thanks to Reno Beach Surf Shop our raffle item this year will be an awesome Naice inflatable 10’6″ SUP with carry bag, pump, fins, and paddle. Time to get on the water with a stand-up-paddleboard that’s lite, stable, and packable for tons of fun in the St Pete sun!

Only 100 tickets will be sold for this one folks, so be sure to get there early!

Props to Reno Beach ownership, manager Lisa, and staff for all that you do in our community and for having some of the sweetest sun, sand, and surf kit on the West Coast of Florida! Jon was the very first friendly face I met when I moved to St Pete oh so many years ago. His slogan is…. Jonny Reno for Mayor, what could go wrong?! Classic!!

A Beer Breakfast legendary supporter and one of our longest tenured Friends of Beer Breakfast is local environmental remediation contractor, ADS Services, Inc. Many thanks to my good friend and owner of ADS, Bragg Crane, for a record 10th year sponsoring our local charities at Beer Breakfast!

ADS Services specializes in demolition, asbestos and lead abatement, mold remediation, indoor air quality, sandblasting, duct cleaning, concrete cutting, and hazardous material removal. ADS Services has been successfully removing hazardous materials for residential and commercial clients since 1987. You’ll find ADS signs everywhere in St Pete!

One of the auction highlights (glow lights!!) at Beer Breakfast continues to be the Deep Glow Underwater Lighting dock light kit. These high quality, patented underwater lights illuminate the waterways at night and are excellent at attracting fish, enhancing the surrounding beauty, and provide an extra level of safety and security at your dock. Deep Glow is known the world over as the finest underwater dock lighting company…. bar none!

I missed out last year thanks to Bruce’s hugely appreciated winning bid, but I’m warning everybody right now…. bring a FAT checkbook or I’m taking this dock light kit home with me as we support Ready For Life.

Beer Breakfast 2023 Swag is being finalized and prepped for screening! Come early on Saturday, March 4th for the best selection of Beer Breakfast gear for ’23. We’re going “army green” this year with some of our most awesome artwork! We keep expanding the swag with the assistance of Architectural Art and Trinity Graphics and now feature Beer Breakfast hoodies, baseball caps, guys and gals dri-fit shirts, stickers (yes, Bob, stickers!), and the newest BB koozies! I couldn’t do this without so many of my wonderful friends donating their time and talents to our merry mission! The more you buy, the more money we can raise for Ready For Life!

Not too long ago we decided to have our Beer Breakfast event on the Saturday morning of St Pete Grand Prix weekend. We figured there would be lots of folks downtown and in a party mood. Well, we sure nailed that one! For the first few years our host bar, The Mandarin Hide, was the only place open at 9am Saturday morning.

Now, every joint on Central Avenue is open early and having a ball. And thanks to our friends at Green Savoree Racing Promotions, we’ll have 4 Sunday Grandstand Tickets and 4 Sunday Paddock Passes to auction off at Beer Breakfast!

My good buddy, Bob, and his band of hard working folks have been with us from Day 1 with their support and generosity to our local charities. I never leave a Beer Breakfast event without getting messy (don’t worry, Mom, I always have clean fundies!). Watch out for flying pickles from the Bloody Mary bar! Good thing we know how to get cleaned up right using environmentally safe products from Skyway Supply!
